Frequently asked questions

Quick answers. The assistant (Ask AI) uses the same answers, and can pass you to a person.

What is Hareeeng?

Hareeeng is Lesotho's place for opportunities: jobs, tenders, RFPs, RFQs and expressions of interest, consultancies, scholarships, grants, jobs abroad with visa sponsorship, and business adverts. It also has Daily updates with fuel prices, exchange rates, weather and service notices. Every listing links to the organisation that issued it.

How do I find a job or tender?

Use the search box at the top of any page, or open Opportunities in the menu and pick a category such as Local Jobs or Tenders, RFPs & RFQs. You can narrow the list by district, type and closing date.

How do I apply for an opportunity?

Open the listing and press the apply button. It takes you to the organisation's own page or e-mail address. Hareeeng does not take applications itself, so always read the official notice and follow its instructions.

How do I get opportunity alerts by e-mail?

Open Job alerts in the menu, enter your e-mail address, choose the categories you want and press subscribe. We send a message to confirm your address first. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link.

How do I create a job-seeker profile and upload my CV?

Press Upload your CV in the menu, fill in the short form and attach your CV as a PDF, DOC or DOCX file (up to 3 MB). While you type your skills, tap a suggestion to complete it. Your CV is private to you and the Hareeeng administrators, and you can delete your profile at any time.

How do I post a job, tender or other opportunity?

Employers and organisations create a free account (Post in the top bar), then use Post an opportunity. New posts are checked before they go live. You can also promote a listing as a featured listing.

How do I advertise my product or service?

Register or sign in, then open Entrepreneurship and choose Advertise a product or service. Add a photo, price and how customers can reach you. For banners, featured listings and advert design, see Advertise with us or e-mail the advertising address shown there.

How can I tell a genuine opportunity from a scam?

Never pay to apply, never share a PIN, password or one-time code, and be careful with shortened links and free-hosting pages. Check the notice on the organisation's own website. Hareeeng staff never ask for payment or passwords. If something looks wrong, tell us through the Contact page.

Where do the listings come from?

From the organisations' own websites and notices, public sources and posts by employers. When a listing is found on another opportunities website, we trace it to the organisation that issued it and link to that organisation, not to the other website.

What are Daily updates?

A page with the Petroleum Fund fuel prices, exchange rates, crypto prices, the weather in every district, the day's important news, and outage notices from WASCO, LEC, Econet and Vodacom. Open Daily updates in the menu.

How do I find out about a water, power or network outage?

Open Daily updates and look at Outages and service notices. Each notice names the provider, the places and the times and links to the provider's own page. If you know of an outage that is not listed, use Tell us about an outage on that page.

Can I use the website in Sesotho?

Yes. Use the English | Sesotho switch in the bar at the top of the page.

Where can I find documents and forms?

Open Documents in the menu. You can search by title or category and download any document.

How do I speak to a person?

Use the Contact page, or the contact details the assistant shows when you ask for a person. We reply as soon as we can.
