We collect only what we need to run Hareeeng.
- Job alerts: your email address and chosen categories, used only to send the alerts you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Accounts: name, email and organisation details for employers and advertisers.
- Job-seeker profiles and CVs: if you create a profile we keep your name, email, the kinds of opportunities and places you chose and, if you upload them, your photo and CV. We use them only to email you opportunities that match and so you can manage your own profile. Your photo and CV are stored privately (never in a public folder) and only you and the site administrator can open them. We do not sell them or send them to employers on our own. You can delete your photo, your CV or your whole profile, from your profile page at any time, and every alert email has a link to stop them.
- Chatbot and AI tools: what you type is sent to our AI provider to produce an answer. Career tool inputs (CVs, letters) are not stored by Hareeeng. Chatbot questions may be stored without your name to improve the service. Please do not enter ID numbers or other sensitive information.
- Cookies: a session cookie for sign-in and security, and optional local storage on your device for your saved opportunities.
- Visits and searches: we count which pages are opened and what is typed into the search boxes, using an anonymous code made from your browser and network (no name, no cookies). We use it to see what people look for and to keep the site safe. Visits are kept for six months and then only totals remain. Browsers that send “Do Not Track” are not counted. Addresses behind hostile requests (hacking attempts) are kept for 90 days.
- Adverts: we count impressions and clicks on adverts; we do not sell personal data.
