Details

The Commonwealth Blue Charter Project Incubator, Round II offers catalytic early-stage grants of up to £50,000, awarded to governments for projects run with NGO or private-sector partners. Priority areas are reducing marine pollution, ecosystem restoration, sustainable blue-economy initiatives, sustainable fisheries and the ocean-climate link. Lesotho is a Commonwealth member, so a government-led project with local partners working on water, climate or the environment could be suitable.

Applications stay open until 11 December 2026 at midnight GMT. Read the guidance and the application form on the Commonwealth page before you apply. Programme page checked; first seen in The Informative, 28 Oct to 3 Nov 2026.

How to apply

Read the guidance on the official Commonwealth Blue Charter page and submit the application form online before midnight GMT on 11 December 2026.

Applying from abroad or for a visa-sponsored job? Confirm the offer directly with the employer or institution on their own website. Real sponsors never ask you to pay a "visa fee", "processing fee" or agent fee to get an offer. Check visa rules on the destination country's official immigration website, and be wary of anyone who guarantees a visa.

Stay safe. Always confirm the details with the organisation. Legitimate employers, buyers and funders never charge application fees. Found an error or an expired listing? Tell us.
